MAGIC Day in Wellington
Here I am nearing the end of another MAGIC day in Wellington, reminiscing about all that our ancestors endured for us...

Wellington day!
Very pleased with myself going for a run this morning. I ran 7 x 1km laps of the track at the Karori Park! The tail wind blew me one way and stopped me the other... Still managed my fastest 7km run to date...
Heading to Wellington
Today was the most amazing flight to Wellington... we left 3 minutes late and arrived 17minutes early... The pilot told us the tail wind was soooo strong we were travelling at over 1000kmph! What a glorious day I had in Wellington, shopping, beach and relaxing in the sun...
Celebrations and Farewell
Today we went to Susan's Dad's funeral. It was an amazing farewell to an incredible man. Then Sue and I went out to Neptuno. Katie came into town and I took her out to Luna. What a fabulous day!
Big day out with Mum
Mum and I went on a stunning drive... First stop Lawrence, then coffee at Roxburgh, fruit buying in Cromwell, lunch at Clyde, drive to Naseby and home through Middlemarch... Fabulous day out!
Finally treated my dear car....
The executive car wash is a joy to behold... I am sure the frame went back and forwards over the top of me...
Pinwheels...
Inspired by the food in the counter at Wobbly Goat I experimented with savoury and cinnamon pinwheels... They look good, they taste even better...
Sunday...
Yummy lunch at Wobbly Goat! I have been coming here for years and how I know the legend and the story of the name of this wonderful cafe!
Summer day with KTK
Stunning super hot summer day... Katie and I had lunch at Caper's then went to St Clair Hot Salt Water Pool. Absolutley awesome to be back swimming - I managed to swim 40 lengths = 1km!
Morning tea party for Barbs and Allanah
Barbs and Allanah are heading off north on the #southislandroadtrip - ginger and pear gems and pikelets are fuel for the journey! Then after Mum and I helped Katie move into her flat we went to the beach for a picnic and a paddle. We got caught by a rogue wave and got soaked - very funny!
Catlins adventures with Barbs...
Barbs and I went for a day trip to the Catlins... Stunning walk into the Nugget Point Lighthouse...

CORE catchup at the Esplanade...
What a wonderful CORE catchup today... Jane, Greg, Allanah, Barbs and I met for lunch! May this be the first of many MAGIC catchups...
A new chapter in the summer holiday...
Today the boys are heading home, Allanah and Barbs are heading into town on their #Southislandroadtrip and a new chapter in the 2013 adventure begins…
MAGIC from sun up to sun down...
Started the day with a run out to Bannockburn and finished the day on Lake Dunstan with my boys fishing…
Relaxing...
Today can only be described as the best relaxing day ever… Sleep in, reading books, relaxing, soaking up some sun! And best of all… enjoying the Central Otago Summer fruits - like cherries the size of plums… tasting like they did when I was a kid! YUM

38km of pure bliss… Well there was a lot of uphill and downhill but it was all MAGIC!
